Job Description

Role Summary 

The Fund Operations Executive will handle end-to-end investor onboarding and manage investor queries during the life of the Alternative Investment Fund (AIF). The role requires direct coordination with investors and distributors and working closely with banks, RTAs, custodians, and fund accountants to ensure smooth onboarding, fund confirmation, unit allotment, and regulatory reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Investor Onboarding & Coordination

  • Manage onboarding of Individual, HNI, Corporate, and Institutional investors
  • Coordinate directly with investors and distributors during onboarding
  • Act as primary point of contact for investors and distributors
  • Address investor queries throughout the fund lifecycle

Documentation & Compliance

  • Collect, review, and verify investor documentation:
    • KYC/CKYC
    • FATCA/CRS
    • Subscription agreements
    • Bank-related documents

Fund Flow & Transaction Management

  • Coordinate with banks and custodians to monitor:
    • Investor fund inflows
    • Fund confirmations
    • Escrow reporting

RTA Coordination & Reconciliation

  • Liaise with RTA for:
    • Confirmation of funds received
    • Unit allotment
    • Issuance of investor statements
  • Reconcile bank fund confirmations with RTA unit allotment records

Reporting & Record Maintenance

  • Maintain investor onboarding trackers, MIS, and records
  • Assist in preparation and review of:
    • SEBI quarterly filings
    • Trust QCR

Audit & Regulatory Support

  • Support audits and compliance reviews
  • Handle other regulatory requirements
  • Ensure compliance with SEBI AIF Regulations and internal SOPs

Candidate Requirements

  • Graduate in Commerce, Finance, or a related field
  • 2–3 years of experience in PMS and AIF operations (preferred)
  • Hands-on coordination experience with RTAs, custodians, and banks
  • Good understanding of investor onboarding processes and documentation
  • Knowledge of:
    • KYC/CKYC
    • FATCA
    • CRS
    • Fund flows
    • Escrow processes
    • Unit allotment
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective follow-up and coordination abilities
