Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities : 

• Oversee and maintain accounting systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards
• Finalize financial statements and manage audits across multiple entities/structures
• Implement and monitor budget control processes in line with regulatory and compliance requirements
• Develop and deliver MIS reports in a timely manner to track financial and business performance
• Prepare and manage cash flow statements (current and forecast), including working capital optimization
• Maintain control over banking operations, including fund management and relationships with financial institutions
• Ensure accurate internal and external financial reporting in accordance with accounting standards
• Drive performance measurement and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Manage taxation matters through tax resources, including Income Tax, GST, tax planning, and regulatory updates
• Identify tax optimization opportunities and ensure compliance with evolving tax laws and structures
• Collaborate with finance teams of portfolio companies for due diligence, reporting, and advisory support
• Liaise with auditors for half-yearly and annual audits, ensuring timely completion and compliance
• Coordinate with tax authorities, accounting regulators, and other regulatory bodies as required
• Provide accurate and timely financial information to auditors, trustees, shareholders, and stakeholders
• Conduct internal checks and testing to validate financial data, systems, and controls
• Negotiate commercial and financial terms with suppliers to optimize costs and efficiency
• Work closely with internal teams to improve departmental processes and overall operational efficiency
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned based on evolving business needs.
