Job Description

About the Role: 

The company is seeking an accomplished financial controller for its finance function in India. Reporting directly to the CFO of The Company, this pivotal role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance, ensuring the organization's financial health and strategic direction. 

1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.  

2. Budget Management: Develop and manage the organization’s budget, forecasting future financial performance and monitoring expenditures.  

3. Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.  

3. Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including tax laws and reporting requirements.  

4. Team Leadership: Oversee the finance and accounting departments, providing guidance and support to team members.  

6. Financial Analysis: Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, and provide strategic recommendations to management.  

7. Audit Coordination: Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion and addressing any findings or recommendations. 

Experience & Qualification:

• ICWA / CMA  with 8-10 year (Preferrable Auto-component, Tier 1/Tier 2 Supplier to OEM).
• Proven track record in Finance controlling role for Mid to large-scale manufacturing operations preferably multi-location, driving improvement initiatives and managing cross-functional teams, In-depth knowledge of automotive production processes, quality standards, and supply chain management.

Skills:

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial
• software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Exposure to SAP and Navision will be seen as added advantage
