Job Description

Financial Reporting

• Preparation of financial statements quarterly and annually as per Ind-AS and coordinating audits in a timely manner
• Preparation of cash flows on a monthly basis
• Preparing cash, bank, and fund flow statements to monitor the flow of funds
• Preparation of Fixed Asset Register (FAR) on a monthly basis

Audit 

• Handling audits (Statutory & Internal) independently
• Addressing and resolving auditors’ queries
• Finalization of financials post-audit

Taxation and Compliance

• Financial planning and tax planning related to direct and indirect taxes
• Strong knowledge of income tax and GST laws with regular updates on recent changes
• Good knowledge in GST and direct tax compliance
• Handling matters with government authorities (Income Tax, Sales Tax, Central Excise) related to taxation and compliance issues

Budgeting and MIS

• Co-ordination and assistance in preparation of the annual budget
• Preparation of MIS reports and variance statements
• Presentation of MIS to management

Treasury and Bank Coordination

• Independent handling of accounts department and treasury management
• Co-ordination and compliance with financial institutions and banks for financing and refinancing
• Obtaining ratings from rating agencies
• Liaising with banks and financial institutions

Stakeholder Management

• Assisting the finance head in various matters
• Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint to interface with stakeholders
• Presentation of reports and updates to management
