Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee all financial, accounting and reporting aspects of our NBFC entity. The ideal candidate will play a key role in strategic planning, financial governance, and regulatory compliance while ensuring robust internal controls and financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management

1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance and accounts department.

2. Manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

3. Monitor working capital, cash flows, and liquidity management.

4. Manage banking relationships and investment portfolios.

Accounting & Reporting

1. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with Ind AS and RBI guidelines.

2. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.

3. Prepare MIS reports for senior management and decks for committee meetings.

4. Implement and monitor strong internal controls and accounting processes.

Regulatory Compliance

1. Ensure compliance with all applicable RBI regulations, Companies Act, and other statutory requirements.

2. Coordinate and lead audits (Statutory, Internal, RBI, Tax, etc.)

3. File periodic returns and reports with RBI

Key Skills & Competencies:

1. CA with 3-5 years experience either with a NBFC or Small Finance Bank or Big 6 audit firm where he/she would have done audits of BFSI entities.

2. Strong understanding of NBFC operations, accounting standards (Ind AS), and RBI regulations. 

3. Proficiency in SAP, Excel and data analytical tools.

4. Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

5. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

6. High integrity and attention to detail.
