Job Description

Role Purpose-

To support the Business Finance function through financial planning, business performance management, MIS reporting, forecasting, financial controls, working capital management, tax compliance support, and process automation initiatives.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

 Prepare and publish monthly Pre-Flash, Flash Results, Business Performance, MIS, KPI, and Cash Flow reports for management review.
• Provide variance analysis, profitability analysis, trend analysis, and actionable financial insights to support business decision-making.
• Prepare rolling forecasts covering sales, margins, profitability, expenses, collections, working capital, and cash flow while monitoring performance against Budget and Strategic Plan commitments.
• Coordinate annual Business Planning, Budgeting, and forecasting exercises, including consolidation of revenue, overheads, capex, working capital, and cash flow plans.
• Develop financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases to support investment decisions, pricing strategies, commercial proposals, and strategic initiatives.
• Strengthen financial controls and governance by reviewing key processes related to pricing approvals, inventory, discounts, provisions, procurement, and compliance requirements.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and digitalization initiatives through SAP, Power BI, and other analytics tools to enhance reporting efficiency and decision support.
• Review AMC revenue recognition, cost accounting, and contract-wise profitability; support tax compliance activities including TDS/TCS reconciliation and statutory documentation.
• Monitor receivables, inventory, advances, and overall working capital performance; support collection planning, cash flow forecasting, and cash conversion improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Sales, Service, Operations, Supply Chain, Taxation, and Corporate Finance teams to drive profitability, improve financial discipline, and support business growth.
• Prepare management presentations, ad-hoc financial analyses, and investment evaluations for leadership reviews and business discussions.
• Act as a trusted finance partner by providing timely insights, challenging business assumptions, and supporting operational and strategic decision-making.

 

Educational & Experience Requirement -

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1st/2nd Attempt, (2021,2020,2019  batches)
  • 4-6 years of post-qualification experience in FP&A, Business Finance, MIS, Commercial Finance, Controllership, or Financial Planning roles.
  • Technical Skills Required - Financial Planning & Analysis, Budgeting & Forecasting, Financial Modelling, Business Analytics, Working Capital Management, MIS Reporting, SAP, Power BI, Advanced Excel, Cost & Profitability Analysis.
