Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Finance & Planning: Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and business performance analysis to support business decisions and growth.
• Fundraising: Support fundraising activities by preparing financial information, financial models, and investor presentations in collaboration with founders and key stakeholders.
• Financial Reporting & MIS: Prepare monthly MIS, financial reports, business performance reports, and variance analysis to support management decisions.
• Financial Control & Compliance: Strengthen financial controls, develop accounting policies, and establish robust financial processes across the organisation.
• Revenue & Accounting: Oversee accurate revenue booking across business verticals, monthly P&L preparation, accounting operations, and timely closure of books.
• Taxation & Statutory Compliance: Manage direct, indirect, and international taxation, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Audit Management: Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely submission of financial records and supporting documentation.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flows, working capital, and financial performance to ensure effective financial planning and management.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with relevant experience in finance and accounting.
• Prior experience working with startups, preferably in a high-growth environment.
• Strong experience in business finance, financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and financial controls.
• Experience in fundraising support and investor reporting.
• Good understanding of taxation, statutory compliance, accounting policies, and audit processes.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work closely with founders and business teams.
