The Employer is a boutique investment management firm, founded 7 years back. The firm is founded by veterans having extensive experience in known institutional brokerage houses. Their mission is to help clients create and protect their wealth in the best optimal manner through investing in equities.
They specialize in Indian equity investments for HNIs, Family Offices, Institutions, and Partners' own capital across different strategies, caps, and sectors. Currently managing an AUM of more than INR 14000 Cr.
Key Responsibilities
Execute equity and derivative trades across NSE/BSE as per Fund Manager instructions.
Place and manage orders through Bloomberg, Wealth Spectrum, or other OMS platforms.
Ensure best execution, minimum market impact, and adherence to internal limits
Handle block trades and maintain complete order logs and trade records.
Coordinate with custodians, fund accounting teams, and brokers for smooth trade settlement and peak margin requirements.
Maintain strong relationships with multiple brokers for efficient execution, liquidity, and market intelligence.
Ability to deal with custody, settle trades, peak margins.
Track market movements, liquidity, buying/selling activity, corporate actions, index rebalancing, and relevant news.
Provide Fund Managers with timely market intelligence, execution feedback, and trading updates.
Prepare daily dealing sheets, trade reports, MIS, and analytical reports using strong Excel skills.
Ensure compliance with SEBI regulations, internal dealing procedures, and audit requirements.
Knowledge of DMA (Direct Market Access) for trade execution will be preferred.
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate / Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce or Economics; MBA (Finance) preferred.
Minimum 8 years of experience in equity dealing predominantly in AIF & PMS
Familiarity with SEBI Regulations and internal control frameworks.
Proficiency in Bloomberg, Wealth Spectrum, and trading/order management systems.
