We are hiring for a leading and rapidly growing organization in the Agri Machinery sector, committed to delivering innovative farm mechanization and silage solutions across India. The company is looking for an experienced sales leader to drive business growth, strengthen distribution networks, and lead high-performing sales teams.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced General Manager – Sales to lead Machinery Sales and Silage Business operations across India. The role will be responsible for driving sales strategy, expanding dealer and distributor networks, strengthening institutional sales, managing regional sales teams, and delivering sustainable business growth while ensuring profitability and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute national sales strategies for agricultural machinery and silage products.
• Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion across assigned territories.
• Expand and manage dealer, distributor, and channel partner networks.
• Lead institutional sales initiatives with dairy farms, FPOs, contractors, and large agricultural enterprises.
• Build and lead high-performing regional sales teams while driving sales productivity.
• Prepare annual business plans, sales forecasts, budgets, and territory strategies.
• Monitor collections, receivables, and overall P&L performance.
• Organize dealer meets, product demonstrations, farmer engagement programs, and promotional campaigns.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 10–15 years of experience in Agricultural Machinery, Farm Equipment, Tractors, Silage, Dairy Feed, Agri Inputs, or related industries.
• Strong experience in dealer development, channel sales, and distribution management.
• Proven track record in institutional sales and rural market expansion.
• Experience managing multi-state sales operations with P&L responsibility.
• Strong leadership, commercial acumen, and strategic planning skills.
• MBA in Sales/Marketing/Agri Business preferred. Agriculture or Engineering graduates are also encouraged to apply.
