Job Description

The person will be responsible for overseeing the entire financial reporting and accounting operations for the manufacturing unit. This role ensures the accuracy of financial statements, strict adherence to Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS)

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting and Compliance

• Prepare and review comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss (P&L), ensuring full compliance with Ind AS and established company policies.
• Execute all necessary Ind AS adjustments, disclosures, and reconciliations.
• TDS, GST, Customs
• Good understanding of AP  and AR Process P2P/R2R
• Good in Communication
• MIS(Operational MIS, Variance Analysis ,Budget vs Actual numbers, Revenue , Raw Material Cost , EBITDA, Capex etc

2. Cost and Operational Analysis

• Perform detailed variance analysis on key financial metrics related to cost, inventory, and production, providing actionable insights to management.
• Manage and analyze plant-level financials and associated costs.

3. Audit and Internal Control

• Coordinate and manage all activities related to statutory audits, serving as the primary liaison with external auditors to ensure the timely completion of the audit process.
• Maintain and enforce rigorous compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and all relevant regulatory requirements.

4. Management Support

• Support the preparation of management reporting, providing accurate and timely financial data.
• Assist in the preparation of the budgeting process and ongoing financial planning activities.

 Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education and Experience: Chartered Accountant with 12-15 yrs of experience in handling financial activities.
• Proven experience in a finance leadership role within the manufacturing or a similar industry.
• IT Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred).
