Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist - Payroll and HRIS Coordinator with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in core HR functions. The ideal candidate will support the Human Resources team in executing day-to-day operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, HR administration, compliance, Payroll, ESIC & PF etc. This role requires strong communication skills, organizational ability, and a solid understanding of HR best practices.

        Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in end-to-end recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and follow ups.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities and ensure all employee documentation is completed and filed properly.
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HR system or database.
  • Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of employee records, payroll inputs, attendance tracking, and leave management in HRIS (Paylocity) & Keka.
  • Maintain compliance with labor laws and HR best practices in all jurisdictions the company operates in.
  • Help organize employee engagement activities, training sessions, and internal communication.
  • Ensure proper documentation and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Partner with department heads to implement performance review cycles, goal setting, and development plans.
  • Address routine employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, leaves, etc.
  • Support performance management processes including tracking probation periods and appraisal cycles.
  • Assist in compliance activities including maintaining statutory records and coordinating with vendors. 
  • Generate periodic HR reports and assist in audit preparation when required.

    Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, MBA in HR or a related field.
  • 3–4 years of relevant experience in an HR Generalist or HR Associate role.
  • Proven experience using Keka & Paylocity for payroll, HRIS, and other modules is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of global & local HR compliance and labor laws.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); experience with HRMS tools is a plus.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
