Job Description

• Develop and evaluate trading ideas driven by fundamental catalysts or valuation-based insights across listed equities.
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence on investment opportunities, including valuation analysis for primary and secondary equity offerings.
• Analyse financial statements, industry dynamics, and business models to identify mispriced or overlooked opportunities.
• Create detailed investment memos and recommendations, articulating investment thesis, risk factors, and return expectations.
• Monitor portfolio companies, track corporate events, and stay updated on regulatory, market, and macro developments.
• Interact with company management, industry experts, and sell-side analysts to gather market intelligence and validate assumptions.
• Maintain and enhance internal financial models and valuation tools for screening and benchmarking.
• Collaborate with the Fund Manager to refine portfolio positioning based on fundamental views.

• Strong command over valuation techniques, accounting, and equity analysis.
• High level of intellectual curiosity and openness to non-traditional trading or investing strategies.
• Ability to synthesise qualitative and quantitative data into actionable investment insights.
• Proven capability to work independently and manage end-to-end research workflow.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, able to defend ideas before senior leadership.
• Collaborative attitude with maturity and discretion to handle confidential and strategic information

Role Requirements :

• At least 3 years of experience into Institutional level Equity research, specifically into Indian Market.
• Educational Qualification: Any Graduate or Post-Graduate
• Preferably from PMS/ Family office or Brokerages.
• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Background in either sell-side or buy-side equity research
• Prior exposure to small & mid-cap coverage
• Experience handling Small/Mid Cap sectors.
